As the name suggests The Fort House is located inside the historic UNESCO world heritage Galle Fort. It has been restored and now offers a wonderful oasis for pure relaxation and calm away from the mad crowd in the world outside. |

You enter the house via a large high ceiling hall with a mezzanine floor to one side supporting the study and TV/DVD. Through either one of two arches you arrive at the open plan seating and dining area that overlook the courtyard and pool. The all white floors and walls make this a very cool house and padding around in bare feet is encouraged. |

There are 4 bedrooms. 3 doubles - one of which overlooks the pool on the ground floor - and 1 twin room. All the rooms have air con and over head fans as well as bathrooms. The master suite has french windows that open onto a private breakfast terrace. |

One of the many treats to this house is the roof terrace with spectacular views over the roof tops of the Fort and out to sea. With westerly views there really is no better place to watch the sun slide into the ocean. It is also a great spot for some private sunbathing. |

The Fort House is a lovely house and you will be looked after by an excellent chef and room lady. A gem of a house. |
